Bushmills Black Bush is a special blend that combines a high proportion of malt whiskey matured in former Oloroso Sherry casks with a sweet, batch-distilled grain whiskey. This unique recipe gives Black Bush its rich fruity notes and deep intense character, balanced by a unique smoothness.
On the nose this whiskey has a big, rich fruitcake aroma with intense Sherry sweetness developing into dried fruit notes. It is soft and silky on the palate with a nutty character. The finish has a lingering sweetness from the Sherry-seasoned casks.
